We offer you a variety of culture lessons which give our guests experiences of British culture.
Our native English teachers give you the lessons, which helps you improve your listening skills.
British Hills English Language Training

Our experienced teachers are here to provide you with a supportive, educational environment in which to improve your English skills and intercultural understanding.We teach not only English as a foreign language, but arts, crafts, music, sports, and much more, emphasizing the cultural aspects of each.
Our diverse teaching team come from Britain and other Commonwealth nations such as Canada, Australia, Jamaica, and South Africa. They are knowledgeable about the needs of Japanese learners and use their experience to adapt lessons to suit individual classes.
Our hospitality staff are also primarily international; in the reception, shop, pub, refectory, and other facilities, you can enjoy an English-speaking atmosphere outside of the classroom. Guests can practise and learn through natural interactions all around British Hills.
Calligraphy
Learn calligraphy, the traditional art of beautiful handwriting. In this lesson, you will learn all the strokes needed for writing the full English alphabet, and practise creating your own decorative pieces.

British Craft
Participants will make one of the 4 crafts below. Participants will decide together what to make on the day.
・Aromatherapy
Learn the properties of different essential oils and create your own bath salts.
・Gel Candles
Make an original gel candle with original decorations.
・Mosaic Art
Make your own mosaic coaster using tiles.
・Glass Painting
Paint your own design on a glass with specialist paints.

Cooking
In this lesson you will make one of the staples of British tea time: scones or shortbread. Participants will decide together what to make on the day.
